Israel has set conditions for a deal with Hamas

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office has placed a condition on a ceasefire deal with Hamas in the Gaza Strip, requiring the Palestinian movement to confirm its details through mediators.

"Hamas is reneging on the accords, creating a last-minute crisis that is preventing an agreement from being reached. Hamas is reneging on clear agreements agreed with mediators and Israel in an attempt to apply last-minute pressure," the office said.

Netanyahu's office emphasized that Israel will not convene a meeting of the military-political cabinet and government to approve the agreement until Tel Aviv's condition is met.

In turn, Izzat al-Rishk, a member of the political bureau of Hamas, noted that the movement is committed to the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
