The police of Belarus will switch to enhanced mode from January 20

From January 20, the internal affairs bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus and the internal troops will be on enhanced duty in connection with the holding of the presidential elections. Alexander Kupchenyan, head of the main department of law enforcement bodies of the public security police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic, announced this during a press conference.

"From January 20, the personnel of the internal affairs bodies and the servicemen of the internal troops are transferred to the enhanced version of the service to coordinate the actions of the personnel, collect and analyze information, and regulate the activities of operational situational headquarters at all levels," he said.
