Today, January 14, a "battle" reminiscent of an action film took place in Yerevan. Around 05:00, 2 citizens were taken to the "St. Grigor Lusavorich" medical center.
Photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports that 24-year-old Karen Khachatryan, a resident of Aragatsotn marz, was diagnosed with "polytrauma, coma" and 24-year-old Hakob Gasparyan, a resident of Yerevan, with a diagnosis of "questionable polytrauma".
The duty group of the Nor Nork Department of the General Department of Police Community Police of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs headed by a community policeman is going to the hospital.
The doctors at the hospital told the police that the injured were unable to explain what happened.
And while the community policemen were trying to find out where the mentioned persons received physical injuries, the Yerevan City Department of the Main Criminal Police Department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs received operational information that they were taken to the hospital in front of the famous "Sochi Palace" hotel complex in Jrvezh district.
The criminal police then find out that around 04:20 an argument-fight took place in front of the mentioned hotel between a number of people, during which they hit each other with stones, wooden and rubber clubs.
And one of the participants, according to the received operational information, hit another car with his car, and then as a result of that argument-fight, the said person was taken to the hospital.
Due to the fact of the incident, a criminal proceeding was initiated in the Nor Nork investigative department of the Yerevan Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee, where the necessary measures are being taken to find out the full circumstances of the incident, to verify the identity of the participants, as well as to find the mentioned cars.
