Within the framework of the "Abu Dhabi World Health Week", RA Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan was hosted at the presidential palace of the United Arab Emirates. UAE President Sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the participants of the event.
The latter emphasized the exchange of ideas on technological trends related to the development of the healthcare system and thanked the minister for his participation.
Anahit Avanesyan highly appreciated the efforts to find joint innovative solutions to the challenges of the healthcare sector.
The minister visited the large national insurance organization "Daman" of the UAE, got acquainted with the features of the system operating according to high international standards, and presented the Armenian approaches to the introduction of comprehensive health insurance.
The results of the visit were summarized in a meeting with the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Health, Mansour Al Mansouri. Possibilities of cooperation in both comprehensive health insurance and other areas of health were discussed.
