Ukraine and the UK have signed an agreement on the development of defense capabilities. It provides for the supply, repair and production of weapons, the Ukrainian presidential office has said.The document makes it possible to start Ukrainian-British projects in the defense sector. It concerns, in particular, the supply, repair and partial production of air defense systems, armored vehicles and ammunition.The agreement stipulates that British suppliers will be able to conclude loan agreements and contracts with Ukraine for 2 billion pounds (over 2.5 billion dollars). This amount can be increased in the future. The loan repayment period is 15 years.
