The meeting of the Chancellor of Germany and the President of Azerbaijan took place within the framework of the 4th summit of the European Political Community. Olaf Scholz said that he supports the ongoing peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The importance of the Scholz-Pashinyan-Aliyev joint meeting on the platform of the Munich Security Conference was emphasized. The ongoing border delimitation works between Armenia and Azerbaijan were discussed. According to the message of the Azerbaijani side, Aliyev noted that border delimitation is an integral part of the negotiation process, progress has been made in that direction, and the work will continue. He added that Baku supports the peace agenda and the early signing of the peace treaty. However, according to Aliyev, for this it is necessary first of all to change the Constitution of Armenia, because it allegedly contains territorial claims against Azerbaijan.
