In Puerto Rico, more than 1.3 million people were left without electricity due to a power plant accident.

"After a total power outage, it will take 24 to 48 hours to restore power," the publication said, citing LUMA Energy.

Currently, rehabilitation works and investigation of the causes of the accident are being carried out.
