The fight against the fire continues for the third day in the warehouses of the port of the northern city of Gdansk, Poland. According to "Armenpress", RMF24 radio station reports about this. According to the media, 15 fire brigades, as well as one fire boat, are currently involved in extinguishing the fire.
The fire broke out in the warehouses on July 14 and initially covered an area of 400 square meters. Later, the fire zone reached 6500 square meters. The rapid spread of the fire was facilitated by the fact that plastic items, motor oil containers, as well as other fuels and flammable materials were stored in the warehouses. After the fire, the authorities of Gdansk closed several beaches of the city and the streets adjacent to the warehouses of the port.
