Aliyev held a meeting regarding the plane crash in Aktau

Upon his arrival in Baku, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a meeting regarding the crash of the "Azerbaijan Airlines" plane near Aktau, Kazakhstan, local APA agency reports.

The plane of Azerbaijan Airlines flying from Baku to Grozny crashed on the morning of December 25 near the city of Aktau in the west of Kazakhstan. According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, after the plane collided with the birds, the commander decided to go to the alternative airport of Aktau.

According to the data of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, there were 69 people on the plane, including five crew members, about 30 people survived.

According to the Russian Embassy, ​​10 Russians are in Aktau hospitals.
