Turkey is planning to become a full member of SCO

Turkey intends to become a full member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). As "Armenpress" reports, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced this at a press conference held in Washington after the NATO summit. "The goal of Turkey, which is now an observer in the SCO, is full membership of the organization," Erdogan said, adding that he had discussed this issue with the presidents of the Russian Federation and China. Erdogan participated in the SCO summit in Astana on July 3-4. After that, he announced his desire to develop relations with Russia and China within the framework of the organization.
