On December 7, 2024, in the criminal proceedings initiated by the Investigative Committee of the Shengavit Administrative District, it appears that factual information was obtained that A.N. embezzled large sums of about 4 million 807 thousand AMD under the pretext of preparing the tombstones for the graves of the deceased servicemen's brothers. from the parents of the latter, and later refused to return the money under various pretexts.
On December 9, 2024, the supervising prosecutor initiated a public criminal prosecution against A.N. under Article 255, Part 2, Clause 3 of the Criminal Code (large-scale fraud).
The investigation is ongoing, the necessary actions are being taken to fully reveal the circumstances of the incident, to verify the possible hypothesis that AN has committed other criminal acts.
