Financial Times Person of the Year

The newly elected President of the USA, Donald Trump, was recognized as the person of the year by the Financial Times. Last year, the newspaper recognized Lars Jorgensen, head of the Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk, as the person of the year.
"Trump is the FT's choice again this year due to the remarkable nature of his return to power," the publication said.

The Financial Times also reminds that Trump has already become the newspaper's person of the year in 2016.

Trump, who has already held the post of US president after the 2016 election, won the presidential election held on November 5.

He became the first US politician since the 19th century to return to the White House after a four-year hiatus. Trump's victory was announced by all the leading media involved in the counting of votes: Associated Press, Fox News, CNN, NBC, ABC and CBS.
