More than 70 international observers have been accredited for the elections in Belarus


More than 70 international observers received accreditation to work in the presidential elections of Belarus. This was stated by the chairman of the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic Igor Karpenko during a meeting with the Secretary General of the CIS, head of the observation mission from the Commonwealth of Independent States Sergey Lebedev.

"More than 70 people have already been accredited from our foreign partners, not only from the CIS countries, but also from the heads of electoral bodies with whom we cooperate within the framework of the World Association," BelTA agency quotes Karpenko as saying.

The presidential elections in Belarus are scheduled for January 26, 2025.
