Voting for the second round of the presidential election is underway in Iran


The second round of voting for the extraordinary presidential election has started in Iran. Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi announced the start of voting. The fight for the position of the head of Iran is between reformist Masoud Pezeshkian and conservative Sayid Jalili. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country, about 62 million citizens have the right to vote in the election. More than 59,000 regional centers will operate throughout the country. Sites will be opened in 95 countries for citizens outside the country's borders. Regional centers opened at 08:00 local time and will close at 18:00.
