45 suspects linked to ISIS were arrested in Turkey


The security services of Turkey arrested 45 people on suspicion of having links with the "Islamic State" terrorist group. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic, Ali Erlikaya. "45 people were arrested in the framework of operations against the Islamic State terrorist group in 16 provinces," the minister wrote in X. The arrests were made in Istanbul, Ankara and Antalya, among others. Turkish intelligence services regularly carry out operations against IS. In the last year, according to the data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 3,000 people have been arrested in Turkey on suspicion of ties with the "Islamic State".
