Airstrikes hit Houthi targets in western Yemen

The United States and the British air force have struck the Houthi rebels of the Ansar Allah movement in the western part of Yemen. This was reported by the Al Masirah TV channel belonging to the rebels.

According to him, the facilities located in Al-Tuheit district of Al-Hodeida province came under fire. There are no reports of casualties among supporters of Ansar Allah.

Following the escalation of the conflict in the Gaza Strip, Ansar Allah has warned that it will fire rockets at Israel and will not allow neighboring ships to pass through the waters of the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandeb strait until operations in the Palestinian enclave cease.

Since November last year, the Houthis have attacked dozens of civilian ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.
In response to Ansar Allah's actions, US authorities announced the creation of an international coalition and the launch of Operation Prosperous Guardian to ensure freedom of navigation and protect ships in the Red Sea.
