Starting from September 15, Yerevan schools will work in a six-day mode for five weeks

Due to the COP17 to be held in Armenia in the fall, classes will not be organized in Yerevan during the week of the event.  According to the Ministry of Education and Culture, instead, from September 15, for five weeks, the capital's schools will work on a six-day schedule. As a result, students will have a two-week fall break in October instead of one.The 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) will be held on October 19-30, 2026.
