If Armenia decides to establish a dialogue with BRICS, it can rely on Russia's help. On the eyelids

The Russian side can help Armenia if Yerevan decides to establish a dialogue with BRICS, Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

"Russia, as the chairman of BRICS in 2024, during contacts with Armenian partners, as well as in the information space of Armenia, disseminates up-to-date information about the activities of the association and the priorities of our presidency. If Armenia decides to establish a dialogue with BRICS, our Armenian partners can rely on Russia's help," said Kopirkin.

At the same time, he reminded that during his speech at the All-Armenian Forum in Yerevan on September 18, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that Armenia does not intend to integrate into BRICS.

"We proceed from the fact that the official position of Yerevan in this matter will be formed, including the results of the visit to Kazan. It is obvious that Armenia, like any sovereign state, should clearly understand that joining the structure is in its interests," the ambassador stated.
