Yesterday, gold market employees protested against the increased taxes. In the near future, we will see new protest groups. I am sure, the process will not be limited by this. Almost a year ago, I warned that those who came to power with promises of citizen's welfare started a policy of "scraping" the citizen, and in the near future they will resort to new tricks, perform new magic tricks to supplement the budget. And the RA citizen will feel that weight on his shoulders.

- 2025 from January 1, notary and lawyer services will be 5 percent until September 2024, and instead of 10 percent from September, they have become almost 38 percent.
As a result, according to approximate calculations, lawyer services will become more expensive or have already become more expensive by almost 40 percent. About 200,000 citizens will bear the brunt of these changes each year. About 190-200 thousand cases are brought to the court every year.
Moreover, lawyers faced a serious problem in providing free legal services. Many lawyers have already made statements that in 2025 they will no longer be able to help citizens for free. The Public Defender's office will be continuously overloaded.
There is another, worse way: until this moment, the "white" service providers will make an agreement with clients who are physical persons and next year they will receive most of the money in cash /in black/.
- On the joint e-draft.am website of drafts of legal acts, the draft of the government's decision is posted, where the values of notary services are revised. The cost of services increases almost twice. For example, real estate donation contracts for first-line heirs become 10-15 thousand instead of 5-7 thousand. Of course, the state tax is added to this. First-line heirs will pay 10-15 thousand in case of 1-2 units, instead of the previous 3-5 thousand, for the inheritance right certificate.
Let's not forget to add the state tax again. Statistics show that these price increases will affect about 1 million citizens every year. To be fair, however, it should be noted that without these changes, many notary offices would be at risk of closing.
For example, notary offices in marzes that do only a few dozen transactions a year simply cannot work under such high taxes.

So, dear compatriots, you can work a lot, maybe even earn a lot, but you will spend much more, and it is not like you will live well," Vardanyan wrote.
