Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said that COVID-19 restrictions in Ukraine will be extended until April 30, and this is most likely not the deadline.
Shmyhal said this at a meeting of the European Business Association, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"We will extend the quarantine until April 30 but, unfortunately, this is most likely not the final date when the quarantine will be completed. It will most likely continue in one form or another," he said.

He said that COVID-19 restrictions might change. In particular, they could be eased or there could be a transition to an adaptive form of quarantine, Shmyhal said.

On December 9, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a decision initiated by the Ministry of Health to extend the quarantine until February 28, 2021, with restrictions tightened for the period from January 8 to 24.
