As of August 29, Ukraine has reported 116,978 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 2,481 new cases recorded over the past 24 hours.
According to the data provided by the coronavirus epidemic monitoring system of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, 41 deaths and 1,055 recoveries have been recorded over the past 24 hours.

Overall, Ukraine has confirmed 2,492 deaths and 56,138 recoveries since the start of the pandemic.

The highest number of new coronavirus cases over the past day was confirmed in Kyiv city (265), Kharkiv region (247), Ternopil region (227), Lviv region (190), Ivano-Frankovsk region (182), Odesa region (170), and Chernivtsi region (142).
