Ukrainian banks have allocated UAH 56.5 million for the fight against coronavirus as part of charitable projects, the NBU press service reports on Facebook.
"For a month and a half, the volume of investments of banking institutions aimed at anti-epidemic charitable projects has increased by UAH 10 million and amounts to UAH 56.5 million," reads the statement.

Despite the gradual easing of quarantine restrictions, banks continue to help health facilities fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of May 29, 2020, Ukraine had 22,811 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases. Some 429 new cases were confirmed over the past day.
