As of the morning of March 26, Ukraine had 156 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases, the Health Ministry of Ukraine has reported.
"As of 10:00 on March 26, Ukraine had 156 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, including five deaths. One patient recovered and was already discharged from a hospital. Forty-three new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours," the Public Health Centre of the Health Ministry said.

In particular, coronavirus cases were confirmed in: Vinnytsia region – 1 case; Volyn region – 2 cases; Dnipropetrovsk region - 2 cases; Donetsk region - 1 case; Zaporizhzhia region – 7 cases; Zhytomyr region - 2 cases (1 death); Ivano-Frankivsk region - 16 cases (2 deaths); Kyiv city - 34 cases; Kyiv region - 24 cases; Luhansk region – 1 case; Lviv region - 2 cases; Odesa region - 4 cases; Ternopil region - 15 cases (1 death); Kherson region - 1 case; Cherkasy region – 2 cases; Chernivtsi region - 42 cases (1 death, 1 recovery).

The virus reference laboratory of the Public Health Centre and the regional laboratory centers test the samples of suspected persons and the established contact persons. The laboratory has already tested more than one thousand samples.
