Russia puts forward conditions for next Normandy format summit

The results of the previous arrangements should be seen to hold the next meeting in the Normandy format, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Grushko said on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
"There was a very clear agreement that the next Normandy format meeting should summarize what had been discussed at the previous meeting. This concerns the disengagement of forces, ceasefire, mine clearance, prisoner exchange, introduction of the Steinmeier formula into the Ukrainian legislation, and some other things," said Grushko, RBC reports.

In other words, the main condition for holding the next summit is "moving along a set of agreements – both on security track and political tracks," the deputy minister explained.

According to Grushko, Russia will continue to insist on the fulfillment of the agreements already reached.

As one of the main obstacles to the implementation of the Minsk agreements, he called "the lack of any readiness of Kyiv for a normal dialogue with Donetsk and Luhansk."

Earlier, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko did not rule out that the Normandy format summit might take place not in April, as it had been scheduled, but a little bit later.
