Ukraine and Turkey implement more than 50 joint projects in the military-technical field, one of the most successful areas of joint cooperation.
“The military-technical field is a prime example of strategic partnership in action... Currently, more than 50 joint projects are at various stages of implementation. One of the most important projects concerns the purchase of combat UAVs from Turkey and the supply of Ukrainian engines made by SE “Ivchenko-Progres” for the production of Turkish UAVs Akinci," Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Turkey Andrii Sybiha said in an interview with Ukrinform.

He noted that cooperation with Turkey in the military-technical field was not only about the sale of products but had already reached the level of design and joint production.

"Our cooperation helps to strengthen the defense capacity of our countries. These projects help Ukraine to reduce the mortality rate among our soldiers and strengthen the army," Sibiga stressed.

According to him, there are also prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of aviation.

As reported, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan makes a visit to Ukraine on February 3. A meeting of the Ukraine-Turkey High Level Strategic Council will be held within the framework of the visit.
