The Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, has adopted the law on the ratification of the development cooperation agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of Turkey.
A total of 335 lawmakers voted for the document at a parliament meeting on Tuesday, January 14, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ratified the development cooperation agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of Turkey, signed in Istanbul on November 3, 2018, which enters into force upon receipt of the last written notification through which the parties inform each other through diplomatic channels about the completion of domestic procedures needed for the entry into force of the agreement.

At the same time, the entry into force of this agreement terminates the effect of the November 14, 2002 agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Turkey on technical and financial cooperation and the December 22, 2011 memorandum of understanding between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Turkey on the coordination of the list of projects to which the provisions of Article 2 of the November 14, 2002 agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Turkey on technical and financial cooperation apply.
