In 2019, the Odesa customs office transferred UAH 38.8 billion in revenues from customs duties to the state budget, which is 19.3% more than in 2018.
The department of economic policy and strategic planning of the Odesa Regional State Administration wrote about this on Facebook.

"In 2019, the Odesa customs office of the State Customs Service transferred UAH 38.8 billion in revenues from customs payments to the budget, which is 19.3% or UAH 6.3 billion more than in 2018," reads the report.

Of these payments, revenues from customs clearance of containers made up UAH 16.6 billion (an increase of 18.2% from last year), revenues from customs clearance of vehicles - UAH 7.0 billion (an increase of 58.3%).

In 2019, the number of containers transported across the Ukrainian border grew by 12.7%, to 563.2 thousand units, including those imported - by 10.7%, to 251.3 thousand units.
