As of September 2019, more than 499,000 Ukrainians were officially insured with the Polish Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), officially paying taxes.
According to ZUS, this is almost by 20% more than in September 2018, Zet radio reports.

It is noted that in late September 2019, ZUS registered over 665,000 foreigners, which is 17% more than in September 2018. Of whom, 58.7% are employees, almost 3% are entrepreneurs, the rest are engaged in other forms of activity.

The largest group of foreigners (75%) is made up of Ukrainian citizens. They number 499,601, which is 17.4% more than in September 2018.
