Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle flew to New York to watch her friend, tennis player Serena Williams playing in the US Open finals, Daily Star reported.

She is expected to return to the UK at the end of the week.

The Duchess is reportedly flying by herself, leaving behind Prince Harry, 34, and their baby Archie.

A source told the The Times: “It is a last-minute trip. Excited to support her friend, and then come back.”

Earlier, the wife of Armenian billionaire Alexis Ohanian was accused of misconduct. During a clash between Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova, she reminded everyone of the Russian doping scandal.
