The trilateral gas talks in the format of the European Commission - Ukraine - Russia will be held in July and September.
Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko stated this during a traditional hour of questions to the government, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"The government is working on the issue of extending gas transit through the territory of Ukraine. The European Commission participates in joint negotiations. In July, negotiations will take place at the level of representatives, in September - at the level of the European Commission," Zubko said.

He reminded that NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine intends to pump 20 billion cubic meters of gas into its storage facilities in case of interruption of gas transit.
