Rosstat found out which workers lacked the most in the labor market at the end of 2018. I got acquainted with the relevant data of the agency RT.

Among the specialists of the highest qualification level, there is a shortage of health workers (doctors). The lack of personnel in this area is almost 60 thousand people.

The shortage of personnel is also noted in the field of education. At the end of last year, more than 32 thousand vacancies remained in this area.

Among the specialists of average qualification, there is also a particularly lack of health workers — nursing staff (nurses). The deficit amounted to 56 thousand people.

Among unskilled workers, most of all there are not enough helpers in cooking (a deficit of about 17 thousand people).

In total, at the end of 2018, 723 thousand people lacked Russian organizations to fill vacant posts. This is more than in 2016, by about 100 thousand people.

Earlier, the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Labor has compiled a list of new professions that have appeared on the labor market in Russia in recent years.

According to the presidential decrees in May, when developing a national project in the field of health care, the Russian government should resolve the issue of personnel shortages in medical organizations providing primary health care.
