Сегодня, 15 апреля, представители AYF — Армянской молодежной федерации, потребовали от президента США признать “геноцид армян” в Османской империи. Об этом сообщает Euromedia24.
Представители федерации организовали митинг под стенами Белого дома в Вашингтоне, в рамках которого зачитали письмо, адресованное Дональду Трампу и всему руководству Соединенных Штатов. В частности, в нем шла речь о том, что США должны занять четкую позицию по данному вопросу.
При этом, активисты призвали руководство Штатов “не поддерживать власти Турции”, которые до сих пор категорически отрицают трагедию 1915 года.
Как сообщалось ранее, в Армении был задержан злоумышленник, стрелявший в командира воинской части.
